Week #35 - Tom

It was a cold and frosty morning. I brought my dog for a walk. We went down to the edge of the river; my dog was staring at the water as if it were a dog bone. I tried to call him but he wouldn't come to me. I went to him and he was so desperate to jump! In the end he jumped. I knew he would do it. I had to go get him because he started going down. In the end I got him out. I had to bring him home to our nice, cozy fire.

  1. Hi Tom. Firstly, can you possibly organise your page so the text is blocked in a conventional manner? Having to scroll so far across the page is really disconcerting for your reader.
One of my favourite dog walks is alongside a river and my Lochie has done just what your dog did - jumped into fast flowing water! I too had to clamber down the bank to rescue him, although he sensibly swam to the bank with and across the current.
    Thanks for sharing,
