Kea 1 100 Word Challenge

  The massive pollution made me think about all the places with floods and droughts. I thought how unfair it gets when something pollutes the air. It made me want to stop it but if it was just me trying to stop it, it wouldn’t be enough. The pollution also made me think about global warming. If the pollution continues, the weather would get hotter and hotter and other places would get colder and colder. It made me feel hopeless that the government might not make the right decisions to help other countries suffering from global warming. I just hope that pollution stops.

  That's makes me feel sad because it's a polluting the ear And it's also bad for the Plane because I can't see  it's bad for the ozone cause it it blows it up and it's also bad for humans cause I can't breathe it Cos it's bad for their lungs I feel bad cuz it happening in New Zealand and it's also bad for helicopters and planes because at stuff the engine up  And it's also bad for the trees because they get all dusty and cloudy and it would be the end of the trees And all the buckle fall off.

  We need to stop Pollution! Not only is it bad for the environment. It's bad for our future! Pollution has already caused 1 million animals and plants to go extinct. We need to do something now, because if we don’t we the younger generation won’t be able to live life to the fullest. At least 8 million pieces of plastic end up in the ocean every year! We need to fix this, because who knows how much time we have left. And even if we start now it might now be enough, and that's why we need everyone on board. 

  “Mum, what's the day on the calendar today?” I shouted. “Today is the 21st of October.” she replied. “No! I don't want it to be the  21st of October, it's my washing day.” I groaned. I went to the washing line to get the washing. The washing was nice and white but then I noticed that it had miniscule pieces of  sticky gunk on it. I brought the washing inside and showed Mum. She said, “what is that?'' and I replied “I don't know.” Mum put it back in the washing machine and said “hopefully it does not come out with sticky gunk all over it.”

  Once upon a time, there was an Author, who wanted to  make the best book in the world so he can be famous. When he got his  papers to write the story it was going well, but when he was on his third page he said to himself, “so, what will I write on this page? He thought and thought, but his mind was blank, he said to himself, should it be when the monkey starts dancing with the king? Or the Queen?  Then, he realized that his story wasn't even good, he decided to not write this story AGAIN.

  Today started off sunny so what will I write on this page?  Well yesterday was Father’s Day we started it off with all  sleeping in.  Then Dad made pancakes for breakfast.  Dad “Won” the Father’s Day free coffee at Robert Harris so I scored a hot chocolate, Yum! We also dropped Grandad his Father’s Day surprise at his flat.  We went on a big bike ride around the Domain.  We went to the island.  Saw lots of spring flowers in the Domain.   For dinner we had roast beef and self saucing chocolate pudding.  We had a fabulous day mainly outside.

  This is a story about a knight, he is a good knight. He protects the kingdom called Ashburtons. He also has some friends called Bob, Nob, Snob and Lob.  Hmmmm,  so what will I write on this page? Oh I know, I should write about a war. It is world war 3 and Ashburton's Kingdom is invading Christchurch, a very rich power but Ashburton's was up to the task. They knew there was a weak point in Christchurch's  position from the spy so they went for that spot. The commanders called on the knights. They fought for a long time but Ashburton won and they were so happy.

  Once upon a time a king called King Pickle wrote in his journal every day. He got sick one day  . King Pickle wasn't going to get better so he wrote all of his memories . King Pickles' guts told him to write all of the family history in a seprite book so he sent his assistant Goergie to the book store to buy another book. Once Goergie got back He started with writing down the stories of his great ancestors. Then he wrote down 5 stories about his dad. He said to himself “so, what will I write on this page?

  Hermione sat at her desk ready to start her learning.  As the day went on she grew more excited about the writing test that was coming up.  As everyone knew Hermione was a know-it-all and always got the highest grades in reading, writing and math!  “In this lesson,” began Miss Brown, “you will be writing about the movie we have just watched.  No one knew what to write about the boring movie except for Hermione.  10 minutes later, Hermione had already written two pages, while the girl beside her was still whispering, “So, what will I write on this page?”

  They never should have said yes I thought as I shook my head and looked at the short brownish grass below me. Ever since they walked onto that not ready ship, that was “supposed to be unsinkable” I never thought it would be safe. It was the 14th of April, 1912. The day that the unsinkable ship sank. Only 2 out of 6 of my friends just managed to survive on one of the 16 lifeboats which could hold 1, 178 but with 2,240 people on board the big ship! But I'm still happy that my friends got back.

  We were going to a festival for school. Mum and Dad were getting ready while I was on my phone because I was ready. Mum yelled for me to come hop into the car. I got in and we headed towards school. The festival was about to start, Mum was about to go get food when a man came and gave us free hotdogs! Mum and Dad ate theirs. I just held mine in my hands, only paying attention to my phone. Mum and Dad started eating but suddenly they both fainted. They should’ve never said yes to that man.

  I had a gift for art. My teachers, parents, even my friends were convinced I was special, and one day I tried it out. I heaved out my painting kit and thought of something to paint. I painted for three hours straight and my end result was a striped rubber frozen in icy cold water in a lake. ‘Not bad.’ I thought. Suddenly my Mum came in and took my painting and sold it off to another country! Ten days later my painting apparently sold for two thousand dollars! I was extremely excited. ‘What should I paint next?’ I thought.

  I was so excited when we got home. I got a new fancy, striped rubber! I could show off my rubber to all my friends. They would be so jealous. I left my rubber on my desk for the night. In the morning I woke up and immediately went to get my rubber. But there was nothing on the desk. The rubber had disappeared. I scurried to the kitchen for breakfast and there on the smooth kitchen counter was my rubber in a bowl of water! I was devastated at the sight and snatched the bowl trying to grab my rubber. But it was . . . FROZEN!

  One day there was a little boy who was sick and his name was Zack. He was a bit ashamed that he couldn’t go to school today so he decided to do some art. He drew his friends. Oops he made a mistake,  he used his striped rubber. After a while Mum called out and said if you wanted to go get something to eat and Zack said yes of course. So then Mum said you better put on your coat it's freezing outside so when Zack went out he saw the grass and it was frozen he was excited to go get scrumptious food! 

One fine day I was going ice skating. I was so excited I got my boots and then I hopped in the car we took off. We got there. Then I saw something in the distance so I decided I would skate to it. It was a striped frozen zebra the Ice was rubber but the ice breaking into water I think it zebra   has been there for a couple  days but it was dead and then the ice broke stranded so still then I skated so fast I got to safety then I went home I was so cold 

  The back wheels skidded as I changed gears and drove off into the distance with my friends heading for the frozen, icy lake. I had just bought the latest Lamborghini with the coolest rims and striped paint on the bonnet. We were going for a swim in the coldest lake in the country and the temperature -7 degrees. As we reached the lake It was so cold we could just stand. One by one me and my friends swam in the water excited and freezing. In the middle of the lake there was a rubber raft that we jumped off. It was awesome.

  Broom dad started the car and said we are going on a road trip into the woods yay I replied with an excited look on my face. We all jumped into the car and dad took off half way down the street. I said, dad I forgot my bag with all my clothes in it. Dad turned around and said what? as he left a big line of rubber on the road. We got back home and I grabbed my striped suitcase. That was slightly frozen from my glass of water that had split last night that I hadn’t drunk.

  I looked in awe at the gigantic stack of cars and trucks lined up against the ocean beach. It was pile after pile of complete car mayhem! ‘How on Earth am I going to get all of these cars out?’ I thought to myself. I called twelve tow trucks to come and tow the cars out, and in five minutes, an army of tow trucks thundered out of the mist. In no time, we hauled the cars out, one by one, not stopping for a single break. It took two hours before we got them out. ‘Job complete!’ I thought.

Hugo the Polar Bear raced round the Arctic in his frosty jeep. It was just another day for Hugo, off to work on a Tuesday morning. “Hi!” he cheerfully said to his work colleagues, waving at them. “Hi Hugo!” they chorused. Into the office they went, one after the other they began to work. The day flew by as fast as a flying puffin. Hugo headed back to his jeep, What a day! Hugo thought. He was about to unlock his jeep when he saw a HUMAN! “Roar!” roared hugo, and the wimpy human ran away crying like a baby.

As I was driving my car in the Arctic the most extraordinary thing just happened! A human walked past me. Never in my 35 year of living have I ever seen a human; but when I got out of the car, he went to the back of my car. So using my common sense I stood on my tip toes and leaned over to see him. You should have seen his face, he was horrified. After him and I just stood there staring at each other for 10 seconds. I naturally just hopped back in my car and drove off.

I was driving in my favourite truck up a mountain to deliver a package. I was listening to a song on the radio when I noticed a figure in the distance slowly coming closer and closer to my vehicle. I slowed down so I could get a better sight of it. Finally as it got closer it seemed to be a human... I mean a human! I have never in my entire life seen a human! It started to come closer so I hopped out of my truck and hoped that it wouldn’t attack a harmless polar bear like me.

I was on my way to the Arctic airport to fly back to the United States when I stopped to get petrol. But when I came back out after I paid I hopped in the car and saw a great big white fluffy scruffy polar bear sitting in the passenger seat right next to me. It terrified me. It made a massive “raww!” I went raw back but then something odd happened. It said “HI” to me. I couldn’t believe my ears. Is it true, can Polar bears really talk to humans? I ran away as fast as I could!

It was a very snowy day outside; it was freezing and I did not want to even get out of the car. I heard a noise “stomp stomp stomp!” It was a polar bear and it climbed up my car. It took its sharp nails out and it scraped my car. I was getting so mad but the I thought it wanted food I said “I don’t have food in my car, I was just going out to see how big the snow was and it was even at the back of the trunk, OUCH! BAD! LOOK!”

Bang bang bang!! what's that? the cops? am I on the yellow lines sir? No it's just a polar bear. Wait a  polar bear?! Should i run or drive no i’ll go to the end of the car and get on the boot. The polar bear jumped so high that  I shot up into the air. HELP ME HELP ME i yelled! The Polar bear got in my car and tried to start it up but couldn't. I fell down beside the car and scrambled in. then I realised that this polar bear lost her cubs!! And I'm finding them...

Dan was going to his cabin in Alaska. He got everything he needed and went back outside to the miserable weather. There he saw Ice bear. He was about to get in Dan’s car. Dan spotted Ice bear and greeted him. “Hey Ice bear!” He and Ice bear hopped in the car. Ice bear informed Dan that he was lost and needed to find his brothers Grizz and Panda. They searched through tall mountains of snow trying to find his brothers. Finally they found them. Deep in a cave protecting Ice bear’s  precious little cubs. They were safe, everyone was.

I was driving through Alaska when I saw a small old town so I pulled over, got out of the truck and went over to see this place. I saw a cafe. I was hungry and tired, it was getting late and there was a motel next door so I thought to myself if I get something to eat I will not be hungry. I turned back to my truck to see a polar bear trying to get in. I ran over but it was too late the polar bear was in the car driving down the road . 

I kept hearing cracks while I was driving the car. Suddenly my car was in the water and I was sinking! Just before I was fully submerged in the water I felt a push from behind and I wasn't sinking anymore. I got out of the car and there standing in front of me was a polar bear! I helped him push the car out of the water. Finally after the car was out I offered the bear if he wanted to see what the other places around the Arctic looked like or go fishing with fishing rods? He chose explore.   

As I called the Mechanic a polar bear came over and opened up my bonnet. I stood there not sure what to do. I watched and then walked inside and had a hot chocolate. Then the polar bear was climbing onto the roof. I ran and put on my glasses and looked outside. He was fixing the car again. I went  and started reading my book. I heard the car start. I looked outside and the polar bear was starting the car and driving away! I ran outside and tried to stop the car. I never trusted polar bears again.

I was driving down the cold snowy road and out of nowhere a polar bear walked up to my truck. The polar bear said “hello human can you hold my phone for me to video my TikTok?”  “Ok” I said with a curious expression, unsure if he would eat me or he would actually make a TikTok. He started to sing, “ Imma savage! Classy booshie, ratchet.”. We filmed the TikTok, and sent it out, then he said “another one!” We filmed it and this time he sang, “Imma sandwich! Mayo, mustard, relish, strictly condiment sandwich!” This polar bear is awesome!

I was driving up to Mount Bearest when all of a sudden a human stood in front of my vehicle. I couldn't believe my luck. If you don't know, human nature habitat is in places all over the world. There are only 4 million people in the Arctic where us polar bears live and they can only live in between 13 and 41 degrees celsius with no clothes on. Lucky us polar bears, we don’t need clothes and we can survive in temperatures up to -73 ℃. Anyway, as the human approached me, I ate him. He was really tasty.

I am a Polar Bear. I like fish, but I love humans. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Humans are good. Very good. I actually ate a human yesterday… I saw a human putting the bonnet up on his car to fix it and I thought, mmmmmmmmmmmm a human, I will go over there and “help” him. Hehehe. I went and hid over on the other side of his car so he didn’t see me, then I popped my head up and he saw me and went ahhhhhhhh! Then I said bruh, don’t scream, I will help you, and then I ate him. Yum. juicy.

I was going into town to get some fuel for my truck so I went into the shop. As I opened the door, a light breeze came into the boiling room and frose the machine so I could not get fuel for my truck. The door was frozen shut. The world was surrounded by polar bears. They were climbing into the cars and driving away on the motorbikes but I was not letting anyone get my truck!  I ran into the window. I got back up and grabbed a sledge hammer and smashed the window but it was too late.

I was in my car driving and then I saw something white and fluffy. So I got out of my car and went to go see. IT WAS A WHITE POLAR BEAR!!!! Then the polar bear tried to get in my car. We argued and the bear was saying it was his car then I said it was my car. I did not want to argue because it was cold outside and it was snowing.The bear was now making a racket and I was getting sick of it. Then the bear touched me and the bear was cold. 

The Arctic Circle isn’t the best tourist attraction, but it seems as if I’ve hit the jackpot! Look, there’s a human now! Carefully…carefully.... Ah! Got him! Ooooo, what is this moving thingamajig here? Ah, let’s see, here, move this… and, ooh! It is moving on these round circle things! Huh, let's press this… ohhh, ahhh. Sooooo warm! So now I just have to figure out how to stop this thing so I can get my human feast! How about this button. Yes! Now let's get out. I think the human has gotten away… so I guess I’ll settle for fish!

An explorer named Portia is about to enter the forbidden jungle of Smiths city. She enters and immediately finds an elephant who is rainbow. She is amazed with the sight. But that elephant is the only elephant that is rainbow the rest are normal grey. The rainbow elephant gets bullied because he is rainbow. But he doesn’t know that being different is unique and it’s just the way we are. Portia goes up to the elephant. She tells him that he is special for having rainbow skin. Then the elephant delivered his speech. I am special and I’m happy to be different.

The family sat glued to the television, now was the moment, we were going to find out who the new prime minister was! There was a lot of random blabbering, but finally they presented the prime minister. The prime minister was.... An elephant? Why would anyone vote for an elephant?! Everyone in the room was annoyed, Dad put his hands on his head and mumbled something very rude under his breath! The crowd on television were annoyed too, but then the elephant said, “Hold up!” and everyone fell silent. My jaw dropped in amazement, then the elephant delivered his speech. 

Out in the deepest darkest jungle were all the animals of the jungle; they had to impress their leader, the greatest animal of all. The Great Tiger . First the giraffe delivered his speech. Then the monkey. Then the gorilla. Then the lions. But the king kept saying “ Next please this is boring.” But then the last animal wanted to do his speech. The lion said “you can’t do it.” but the elephant got up and then the elephant delivered his speech with glory and pride. This made the king Interested. “Wow,” he said.

This is live from the jungle, yes you heard us correctly this is live from the jungle. Breaking news the Elephantes are protesting for what they think should have happened a very long time ago. The Elephants are protesting because they think they should be the king of the jungle and they have their reasons. One of the reasons is because they are much bigger and that is not the only reason, but the main reason is that they want power over everyone.The leader of them all slowly walked over and did a little fart and then the elephant delivered his speech. It was mind blowing!!!

As the Elephant and Lion argued over who was the king of the Jungle, the Penguins and Polar Bears argued over who was the King of Antarctic. The Camel, well he argued with a Cactus over who was the King of the Desert. After all that arguing the animals decided to have a vote. The Lion went first as he said his speech, the elephant’s heart raced, as he knew he was next. The elephant kept saying to himself that the Lion had won this battle, but then the lion was finished and it was the elephant's turn, Then the elephant delivered his speech....  

It was a great sunrise at the zoo, all the animals were just waking up when the Rooster went, Cocka Doodle Doo!!! And the animals on the other side of the zoo woke up! The last animal to wake up was President Dumbo Trumpet the first animals up were the Kangaroo’s who were the President’s bodyguards, but really, they didn’t sleep because they guarded the president. Two hours later, the president was getting ready for a speech in front of the whole zoo! He was really nervous, and then the Elephant delivered his speech, and he did. It was great. 

There I was, in the fierce jungle, At 11:00 O'clock at night, poaching elephants to get money to feed my family. I would rather be a boring checkout person in our local supermarket than killing these innocent creatures but we need more money ever since the great tornadoes hit our side of town. Suddenly I heard a noise in the dark bushes. It quietly creeped up behind me and blasted water on me. As I turned around slowly, screard out of my skin, I came face to face with an elephant. Then the elephant delivered his speeches,”serves you right.” I was left astonished.

Today Mum was bringing me to the zoo. I have to admit I was pretty excited and I couldn't wait! Finally we were going there now and I knew the first thing I was going to do. We finally got there and I went straight to the elephant but for some reason he wasn't there. He was where the President was when he opened the zoo. Then the elephant delivered his speech “pppfffffffff!!” It was so loud I had to block  up my ears! But it was one of the best days ever!.. Apart from when the elephant made probably the loudest noise ever.   

I am going to the Zoo today and I am so excited. I saw lots of animals. I saw an Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Tiger, Monkeys, Meerkats, Gorillas, Birds and much more. First I went to see the Elephant. I said you have such a beautiful body and you are so different to other Elephants. Then the Elephant delivered his speech and said “you are beautiful too.” So I went to go see the other animals at the zoo (not trying to be mean but they weren't as cool as the Elephant but they were still cool). Then it started to rain so we went home.  

One day I was going on a boat. I said goodbye to my family and I set  off. That night I was sleeping. I heard a noise and of course I went to  see what happened. The boat was sinking. I was screaming as the boat was sinking. I was screaming for help. There was no one. I saw a boat so I swam over to it and then passed out. When I woke up I was on a beach with an Elephant and then the elephant delivered his speech. “How did you get here?” the elephant asked. I couldn’t believe my ears!   

It was a bright and sunny morning in the heart of the great Auckland zoo, the biggest in the country. The zoo was full of tigers, hippos and every animal you could think of. The whole zoo was sitting on the mud seats in between tall, tropical pine trees waiting for the president of the zoo to deliver his great speech. Everybody was at the assembly, and finally president Elly came on the stage. Suddenly the room fell silent. President Elly took a deep breath, altered his bow tie and straightened his elephant sized shirt. Then the elephant delivered his speech....

Hello I’m Gromit and I’m 28 years old. I’m in the jungle hunting Elephants. I live in a plane that crashed years ago. When it crashed, I saw someone crying so I ran over to check it out. It was a baby Elephant in a crate. It was so cute, so I looked after it. But before I did, I heard a bigger Elephant. I followed the sound and found the Elephant but I was too late, It was about to speak. I tried to give him his baby but then the Elephant delivered his speech saying, “KILL THE HUMAN THAT TOOK MY BABY” “Oh poop”. 

Hi, I'm dr Maya  Dolittle and I can talk to animals. I'm going to the African Plains   on a mission to save all the african plains with my dog named  lucky. my dad is THE dr dolittle. That's how I got my last name dolittle . As soon as I walk out into the open plains I see all the animals, big ones and little  ones. And then an Elephant ran over and said, “are you mAyA dolittle?” “Yes I am,” I replied. The Elephant looked very old. He led me to a pack of elephants. Then the Elephant delivered his speech. 

Once upon a time there were 2 animals, a tiger and an elephant, running for Prime Minister. Every animal thought that the tiger was going to win but the elephants and birds all thought that Ally the Elephant was going to win. One fine morning Tiger and Ally were going to do their speeches. Tiger’s was all about how cool he was and that he cares about everybody, and saying bad things about Ally and it made him sad about himself but then the elephant delivered his speech. And the crowd loved it and he won. Yay!

Elliott the Elephant grew up in this big jungle with his family. One day he was running around with his best friend Rory the Tiger. They were playing hide and seek. Elliott was the seeker, he was looking everywhere then he looked on a beach until he realised it was an abandoned beach. Elliott was scared. He ran home to say a speech about Rory the Tiger. He was lost or so Elliott thought, then the elephant delivered his speech. He said ‘’Hi I’m Elliot and I need your help. I have lost my best friend.’’ Everyone felt  bad so they looked and found him. 

It was a hot afternoon with the sun burning across the forest landscape and the birds chirping happily in the thick tree branches. In the middle of the dense forest stood a large, gold temple. Pioneer’s and scientist’s have searched for it for years until now. My family discovered it. We were adventurers searching for it in the forest when we came across the lost temple. This must be really ancient and old, I said to my mum and dad. We found a giant viola inside and we brought it back to the city. It was worth millions of dollars!

Mysteriously the cave felt like it was going to close. I told my big brother, “We should go back. This isn't exactly your playden is it?”  “No.” he answered. “But I need to prove I can find that viola. I want to prove Mr Kitchen wrong.”  I saw the cave close and I screamed “James!” He said “shut up.”  “Oh fine.” I said hastily.  Then he said “ Apparently It is made of the most ancient gold.” his eyes shined.  I gasped” J J J James look!”  We escaped through a hole, ran home and said “We searched and found this!”

We archaeologists have searched for the ancient gold viola for many years. Nobody knows for sure if it exist but I believe the tale is true. Some believe it was formed by an almighty pharaoh long ago, and  stolen and lost by one of his slaves. The Pharaoh immediately died when viola was stolen and some say that he got his energy from the power inside of the instrument. Ten years ago I first heard this tale and I couldn’t get my mind off it. That's when I decided to become one of the many archaeologist searching for the treasure that belongs to the Pharaoh.

The tree leaves were rustling behind us as we were walking in the cold and gloomy night. We were cold, frosted, wet. The rain soaked us as we walked. I felt lost. We searched for a cabin. Nothing. Suddenly we heard a viola or something. We were walking just a little more when I saw something that looked like gold! I was right, it looked ancient. We went to it and picked it up. It lit up in the moon's light. I couldn't stop holding it and felt like it was stuck to my hand! I couldn't get it off!        

I was a gold hunter and I was in the mountains looking for treasure, but I wasn’t looking for normal treasure, I was looking for ancient treasure. I searched every tunnel and cave but there was no sign of the golden viola. But then I saw a light through a tunnel in the caves. I didn't know what the light was but I went and checked it out. Then finally I found the lost treasure. My boss was going to be so pleased. I ran and ran but it wasn't the treasure. It was just a shiny piece of metal. Better luck next time.

Hi my name is Hudson and I heard that there was a gold viola lost somewhere and I’m thinking of finding it.People say it is ancient that means very, very, very old. I was thinking about doing this for years now and I think I am ready to find it. So Some days I went to find things to practice. But today is my day and I am going to find it. So I woke up very early in the morning, got dressed and drove to where the place was. I searched all day long and found it.Yay to me!

Dear diary. Today my friends and I went camping. Our parents were setting up camp so we wanted to explore. While we were walking we just saw…... boring trees. But soon we found a beautiful cave. We had our phones so mum could text us. After a few hours We searched around the cave and found a lost, ancient viola  found in a rusty, old, gold chest. We heard rumors about this lost viola. We found our way back to camp.we told our parents about the viola a few weeks later we were on the news paper!

It was summers another afternoon in Peru’s hot temperatures at the lovely  hotel that I was staying at. I was supposed to be waiting for my dad to finish his urgent ‘business meeting.’  “He’s been gone for quite a while,” I muttered to myself as I stroked the strings on my viola. Suddenly the phone rang. It was my dad but before I could say anything he said, “Son, I have searched everywhere to find the lost, ancient, city of gold and I have now found it. I will explain everything when you get here, love you, bye.”  I was left astonished.

One wet, windy day I was out treasure hunting with my friends to find the lost ancient gold in the jungle. We searched for hours and hours but we were only getting colder and colder by the second.  The sun was beginning to set and we would soon be out under the stars for the night when we saw something old and rusty. It was a viola, maybe someone came to play here.  Then our eyes opened wide as we saw what we had been looking for: the lost ancient gold was ours oh what luck we had tonight girls. 

Wow! I shouted. I was digging and suddenly something came up out of the dirt. It was a dusty old box. After finding it,  I was getting a little bit scared.  Then I decided to open the box. It was not just a box, it was a gold box with brown on the outside. When I opened it I saw treasure. I searched as hard as I could to find my treasure. I was trying to find my viola. I was lost and I couldn't find it. After a few minutes I looked in it again and it was old. 

One day on the beach I was walking and then I found a piece of paper. Of course, I picked it up. It was a map of where there was buried treasure. When I got home I searched on google to find where the map was.  I finally found it. It said it was ancient; it was on the beach and had been there for years. I was looking for days using the map. It was in a cave. I had found one cave two days ago when I was exploring. I ran to the spot. There was gold and old and rusty viola.  

As I was walking into the fog I slipped and fell in a hole. I screamed but no one could hear me. Finally I hit the ground and saw a letter with my name on it, it read: Dear Pearl  You are most likely freaked out because you just fell in a hole and because I know your name. Anyway you aren’t getting out of here anytime soon so here water and food just so you know you aren’t getting out of here until you find the ancient viola.  So here I am crying because I’m lost and have searched everywhere for the viola. 

I wandered down the dark and gloomy tunnel. All I could see was pitch black nothing. Why had I agreed to do this! I probably wasn’t going to find any trace of this old, gold viola! I could tell that this tunnel was ancient, and nobody would have set foot in here for ages! Still, I searched, I wasn’t going to let the boss down after all. After a while, I began to grow lost, I had no idea where I had come from or where I was going! I stopped for a moment, and then I began to panic!   

I am a treasure hunter, all my life I have searched for the Ancient Viola of Gold which has been lost for centuries. I have had to travel all over the world to find it. I started in Antarctica, and I have ended up here, in Scotland, in a cave at the hill, Arthur’s Seat. I slowly walked into the cave, trying to keep going and walk in further, and so I did. I kept walking until I fell in a hole, I stood right back up, and there it was, the Ancient Viola of Gold, right in my sight.

All I could hear were my screams echoing over the valley. I turned around and saw the beast. My heart stopped. He dug his hoof into the ground. Then he started to sprint at me that’s when I knew I should run. But I didn't. My feet were glued to the ground. SO I held out my hand in a fist and poked out my pinkie finger and my thumb. This was meant to stop the beast and make him sit down. . I waited with my eyes closed, heart pounding. He stopped and sat. I knew I had cracked it.

I walked home down the dark, empty streets. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I heard a deafening scream echo out of an abandoned alleyway. I slowly edged my head around the wall to see what had caused the scream. There stood a dark shadow of a man, he held a sharp knife, dripping with dark blood. The man turned his head to face me. He edged closer, that’s when I knew I should run. I ran until my legs ached, I didn’t know if the man was chasing me, but as a kid, I knew I should be scared to death. 

One day I was just sitting on my  comfy chair minding my own business.Then I heard a  weird noise and it sounded like wind. So I didn’t really care about what it is because New Zealand is safe. I went back inside to watch a movie and have a hot chocolate because it started to get cold outside. And I heard the noise again. It was very unusual. The noise got closer to me, I started to get scared, I looked closer and It was a tornado. “Ahhhh! A tornado!” I screamed and that's when I knew I had to run...

I was in Fiji and I was playing on the beach with my sister. Then out of nowhere this rumbling came to the earth, I looked at my sister, she was looking at the sea with a scared face. That's what made me look at the sea and saw that the shore went out as long as it could go but then it started getting longer and longer because the waves were building a tsunami. That’s when I knew I should run. I said to Penny “come on, there's a tsunami.” The earthquake had stopped and the tsunami was gone.  

I was a lost kid on a hiking trip in the middle of the big, vast and dangerous jungle full of man-eating crocodiles, meat-loving hippos, and ferocious tigers. What was the worst that could happen? Speaking of ferocious tigers, there was one! I heard a loud rustle in a humongous hawthorn bush. That’s when I knew I should run. I sprinted through the forest, only stopping to catch my breath, I heard the tiger behind me. I thought the tiger was toying with me. I spotted a bush and dived into it. The tiger ran past it! “Saved” I thought.

On one quiet, peaceful Friday night, I was sleeping like a baby, when suddenly, I heard a creak on the floor. It was really loud, so I quietly walked over to the doorway, then I saw a faint shadow on the wall, so I ran straight back to my bed, I was really freaked out. Then I heard the door slowly open, and then I saw a M9 pistol and a bayonet knife stick out, and that’s when I knew I should run . But then I realized there was nowhere to go, except the window. I jumped. Then I yelled.

One day I was out in the cold misty mountains on a wet stormy day. I was picking flowers to take home for the dinner table because my mum was not that well. Then I heard something rummaging through the bushes nearby. It made a noise that was not a very good one and that’s when I knew I should run. But then I heard a voice saying “wait it’s just me.” but I had no idea who it was, was someone following me. wait! grandpa what are you doing here you scared me! “I came to help!” Ohh grandpa!

I was walking down the road when I heard a boom in the gloomy sky. I started to walk faster and faster then I saw ladies, men, kids running into houses and then I said “ that’s when I knew I should run.” But the only thing is my house is on the other side of the city. I could tell it was a Hailstorm. I started running as fast as my legs could take me. But then a school bus came around the corner and hit me. I fell to the ground but I did not let that stop me...

It was a lovely day, the sun was shining so bright the water dried up in 2 seconds. I went to get a hot dog. When I bit the hotdog, it turned into a gigantic beast. I didn’t know what to do, that's when I knew I should run. But it was so bright  I couldn’t see. The monster didn’t care about the sun because he wouldn’t stop until he found his flesh then he would stop and turn back into a normal hotdog. “Ahhhhh!!” The monster found me, but his victory song was terrible. “Waffles, Waffles Waffles!!” said the horrible monster.

It's 11 p.m.. at night, I was out with my friend Tom. We were walking down McDonald Street and we saw a strange man. He started running at us. I thought he was sick. I thought it would be funny if I told him some meme. “I'm in my mum's car…” he didn't laugh. “My name is Jeff…” he didn't laugh. I better start running. I quickly looked over at a poster and I saw his name and I saw his face. It was the same guy. That's when I know I should run ….Oh no Oh no! 

One day I was going to a spot where my friends said they saw a clown. So I went to the spot and then there it was, a hotdog stand, my favorite treat. So I pulled over to get one but little did I know there was a clown in the hotdog stand so that’s when I knew I should run. I ran for my life but the clown would not stop and neither would I. One hour later I finally reached the car and jumped into the car hopefully not letting the clown catch up but he angrily did.

My cousin and I were coming home from hunting. We flung the huge pig on our backs. With our four dogs at our heels we set off on our way home. But as we walked through the forest I saw a black body with four legs. A black panther!! I screamed as it pounced on my cousin. And That's when I knew I should run!! I climbed up a tree and waited till the panther was under me and when it was I cut at the branch with all my might it fell and it was killed.

One day at the beach I was surfing. Mum and Dad called my name. It was Lunch time so I went over and something happened. People were screaming, they were running for their lives. It was a tsunami so big that I knew I should run. I was running like Usain Bolt. That’s when I lost my mom and dad. I got to the nearest building. I ran up to the top of the building it was the scariest day of my life. I cried. Would I ever see my parents again? The Tsunami stopped. I ran to find my parents.

As I stood upon the sand watching the waves come in and out but the tide went out and the waves got bigger and bigger. As the waves grew I just stood there not knowing what to do but when the tide came rushing in that’s when I knew I should run. The sky got darker, the wind got stronger and I felt like my life was upside down I couldn’t think. I felt useless I thought to myself “ I am stilll at this BEACH and haven’t ran for my life the came at me I woke up it a dream 

It was a lovely summer's afternoon at beautiful Bondi Beach in Sydney. The sky was clear and the wind was still as a statue. “ ahh, relaxation.” I muttered to myself as I lay down with my back facing the sun. It had been pretty sad leaving my house and friends to move to Sydney. Surprisingly people started standing up, pointing and looking into the horizon. Some people started screaming and yelling. I sat up and looked. Suddenly my heart skipped a beat. It was a tsunami. I looked over at my parents. They were yelling at me to follow them. That’s when I knew I should run.

“Mum,” I heard my kids whine.  “What is it this time?” I said with a tiredy “We were on our ipad; a notification came up saying that all shops are closing tonight. Can we please go?” they said in excited voices. At first, I thought they were lying. That's exactly what my kids would say so they could get new toys. But at that moment a notification came up on my phone saying that all shops are closing tonight that's when I knew I should run. There I was running down the hallway yelling “grab all of your money we’re going to every shop in town!” 

One day I was down at the river fishing and I heard a rumble. It was a whole horde of zombies. Then I ran down to my truck. It was not fun. I tried to drive away but all the zombies surrounded me in the truck so I got the 303 out and shot after them. Then I drove my truck from where the zombies were. I drove home and got a shotgun because it has a bit of spread. So I killed all of the zombies and the farmer came down to have a look what happened to the tractor.                                                                                  

One fresh winter day I was out in the open where I saw a creek making a ripple sound as I walked past. Then I saw something running through the trees on the other side. I asked my mum what could that possibly be? She said it would just be a bird flying round the trees, I asked if I was allowed to take a look. Mum said yes just be back before sundown I scurried off to find it in the distance and  I hurried before dark and I found a beautiful golden retriever as I heard mum call . 

I was walking along the running creek beside our house. I saw something lurking around in the grey shadows by the peach tree. I silently moved towards the thing then I Jumped across the river then it started to run. Finally I caught a Puppy With a powerade plastic bottle around its neck. I held the puppy and ran as fast as I could with the puppy in my arms. I burst through the door and rushed for the scissors. I cut the bottle off and the puppy started to Breathe. 1 year Later.
